Now that you have registered for classes, we want to make sure you have all of the information you need to make your first year at Harford a success. How do we do that? By inviting you to Orientation! And since we’re online this year, we decided to add some fun and informative events leading up to it that will get you cheering for the start of the semester. Are you ready?

New Student Orientation

(video recorded from events on 8/11/20 & 8/13/20)

Parent Orientation

(video recorded from event on 7/27/20)

Due to high demand, we've added an additional Dual Enrollment Orientation!

(rev. 8/20/20) We had such a great response from the first Orientation that we scheduled another. Please join us to learn more about scheduling, communication, Blackboard, and how to be a successful Dual Enrolled student. Click here to RSVP today for log in information.

Orientation Review and Extras

As a follow-up to New Student Orientation or for those who missed it and want to review some of the information that was presented, a Blackboard site will go live to students beginning Monday, August 17.

The following modules will be available to view on your own schedule.

Orientation Reference Module
Recap important pieces that will be helpful during your time at Harford

SAVE Program
Online module covering Sexual Assault Prevention. Required for all students.

Online Learning Reference and Review
A helpful tool for students new to online learning. Review how to use Blackboard (finding grades, posting discussion board posts, etc), time management skills, and other useful tips!

New Student Orientation 2.0
A recording of one of our virtual orientation sessions will be posted on the Blackboard site for students who were unable to attend.
