The Board of Trustees of Harford Community College will meet in open session on Tuesday, April 10, at 6 PM in the James F. LaCalle Conference Room 132, Edgewood Hall.
For the second year in a row, a student team from Harford Community College has won the Maryland Sustainable Growth Challenge (MSGC). The award was presented March 26 by the Maryland Sustainable Growth Commission in Crownsville.
From our Nation's Capital, the United States Army proudly presents the United States Army Field Band and Soldiers' Chorus. The performance will take place on Friday, May 18, at 7:30 PM in the APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College.
The first annual Women in Non-Traditional Careers Open House will take place on Thursday, May 3 from 3 to 7 PM at Harford Community College’s Edgewood Hall.
Owl Magazine, the student multimedia publication of Harford Community College in Bel Air, received national recognition at the 2018 David L. Apple Awards contest sponsored by the National College Media Association.
Harford County Executive Barry Glassman presented a citation to honor Harford Community College’s men’s and women’s basketball teams on March 15 in the APGFCU Arena at HCC. The Harford Fighting Owls men’s head basketball coach Mike Smelkinson and women’s head basketball coach Mike Seney accepted the citation together on behalf of Harford Community College.
Dr. Karen Kruse Thomas, JHU’s Public Health Historian, will discuss the development of public health, a key field in the fight against epidemics, April 5, 3-4 PM.
On Saturday and Sunday, Apr 7-8, 2018 at 7:30 PM, the classic novel Anne of Green Gables will be presented in Joppa Hall, Recital Hall #1. Harford Community College’s Division of Visual, Performing, and Applied Arts is honored to present this work by local musician Peter Tutaloin its first performance with a full cast! Anne Shirley’s journey from unwanted foster care to beloved member of the Cuthbert family is a touching new opera that will charm audiences of all ages.
