Security Clearance Information Seminar

Tuesday, January 17, 5:30 to 9:30 PM
Harford Community College, Student Center, Room 243

The need for employees to hold some level of security clearance status has increased across all industries. Many career specialties require employers to recruit and maintain a pool of potential employees or contractors who already have security clearance or have the ability to meet and pass the challenges of intensive background checks and security clearance screening processes.

Join TAACCCT grant staff from Harford Community College as they provide information and insight to help others better understand how to navigate the intricate and often complex process of seeking, obtaining and maintaining a security clearance. The focus will be on how to recognize, identify and prevent actions and behaviors that can hinder the clearance process.

This informative event is designed for anyone exploring or seeking employment with the federal government or contractors for the intelligence community, diplomatic and other government agencies, law enforcement, and the health care industry.

Space is limited; RSVP to cyberdefense@harford.edu by January 10, 2017 to reserve your spot. Info: Christine Brown, Cybersecurity Career Navigator, 443-356-0363, cyberdefense@harford.edu
