Bel Air, Md. - The bracket has been released for the NJCAA Division I Women's Soccer National Tournament with the Harford Fighting Owls going in as the #7 seed. Harford is set to face the second ranked Tyler Apaches and the Cloud County Thunderbirds in the opening round of the tournament.

The National Tournament consists of four pools of three teams with each of those three teams facing each other in the opening round. Those opening round games will be played on November 13-15 with Harford set to play Cloud County at 12:30 PM on November 14 followed by a heavyweight match against Tyler at 12:30 PM on November 15. The team with the most points in each pool advances to the semifinals on November 17 with the championship game on November 18.

Harford earned the #7 rank on the back of an 18-1 record including a 16 game win streak and 15 shut outs. The Fighting Owls resume is quite impressive with their only loss of the year coming on the road to then #2 ranked Monroe CC along with a win against then #8 ranked Monroe College as well as the District Championship victory over undefeated #11 Cape Fear.

The Fighting Owls will make their first appearance at the National Tournament since 2014 where they defeated Otero 3-2 but fell to Navarro 2-0 to end their season. Harford's #7 rank is the highest the Fighting Owls have been since September of 2010 when they were #5 in the NJCAA.

Harford's offensive productivity has been unmatched in the nation this year with 138 goals in 19 games; 32 more goals than the next closest team in the NJCAA. Not to be overlooked is the Fighting Owls defense as they are fifth in the NJCAA with 0.37 goals allowed per game as Harford has allowed just seven goals over the course of the season.

The tournament will be hosted by Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Fl. and will include live video streaming throughout the competition. Click here for direct information from the hosts.
