Harford Community College’s Division of Arts and Humanities presents a concert featuring Naho Bessho, piano, on November 4 at 3 PM in the College’s Joppa Hall, Recital Hall #1.

Naho Bessho is an accomplished pianist of lyrical and delicate tonality. After graduating from Aichi Prefectual University of Fine Arts and Music, she gave many concerts in Tokyo and Nagoya, Japan. She won the highest award in Japan Classical Music Competition in Chubu district at the age of 19. She played a piano concerto in Nagoya with Krakow Philharmonic Orchestra in 1999 and won the 2nd prize at Yangtze-River-Cup International Competition in Osaka in 2001. In 2006 she graduated from Boston University with a Performance diploma. Since then she has been giving many piano recitals in the US and Japan.
