Join thousands of Marylanders who will be reading and talking about What the Eyes Don't See: A Story of Crisis, Resistance, and Hope in an American City by Mona Hanna-Attisha. The book is about Dr. Mona's relentless pursuit to uncover the contamination of Flint, Michigan's drinking water. The 2019 One Maryland One Book initiative will provide book lovers with a chance to participate in a lively book discussion.

In conjunction with the initiative, Harford Community College's Library is sponsoring a book discussion on Monday, September 16, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Hays-Heighe House.  Registration is highly recommended as seating is limited. The general public is invited to this free event. Registrants can get a free copy of the book while supplies last and register at the HCC Library Reference Desk, or call 443-412-2131.
