Fall Open House

  • November 19 (Tuesday), 5-8 PM, APGFCU Arena at Harford Community College

Faculty and staff will share interactive presentations and discuss opportunities for prospective students. Representatives from the Admissions, Advising, Financial Aid, Athletics, Disabilities Support & Intervention Services and Student Activities will be available to answer questions and to assist with the registration and FAFSA process. Campus tours will also be available. Financial Aid Specialists will be available to assist attendees with completing the 2020-21 FAFSA. There will be limited work stations available. Bring your own mobile device as there is a new mobile tool available. The financial aid sessions will operate on a first come, first serve basis. NEW – Anne Heighe's Home Movies

Hays-Heighe House was once the manor house for Prospect Hill Farm and the headquarters of Robert and Ann Heighe's thoroughbred horse breeding and training facility. View recently digitized "home movies" of the farm, their horses, and race tracks up and down the eastern seaboard from the 1930s and 1940s. There is no admission fee, but seating is limited. Kaleidoscope of Cultures

  • November 21 (Thursday), 6 PM, Harford Community College, Chesapeake Theater

This event features outstanding performances by culturally diverse artists with free interactive workshops led by performers. This year, Kaleidoscope features Mana Polynesia, Irish Blessing and Mystic Warriors. Mana Polynesia will bring Pacific Island dance and music to the Harford campus. Irish Blessing will blend driving instrumentals, soaring vocals and hard hitting percussive step dance into a traditional experience. Mystic Warriors will be playing music from Honduras in honor of the College’s “country of focus” for 2019-20. Each year, the DICE (Diversity, Inclusion, Culture, and Equity) committee at Harford selects a country to highlight in courses as well as in campus events.
