A+ Certification

CompTIA A+ certification is the starting point for a career in IT. It is an industry-wide, globally recognized credential for today’s PC repair technicians and a marketable asset that employers seek when hiring. HCC offers three courses that will prepare you for the CompTIA A+ certification exams.

Certified Nursing Assistant 

This Maryland Board of Nursing (MBON)-approved course prepares you to safely perform delegated nursing functions with clients of any age and various levels of physical, sensory, motor, and emotional ability. Those who successfully complete both the theory and clinical components of the program are eligible to apply for certification with the MBON and to take the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP) examination.

COMPTIA Advanced Security Practitioner

The CASP certification is an international, vendor-neutral exam that proves competency in enterprise security, risk management, research and analysis, and integration of computing, communications, and business disciplines.

Paramedic

Do you have what it takes to assess injuries, administer emergency medical care, extricate trapped individuals, and transport them to a hospital or trauma center? This program is designed for Emergency Medical Technicians who are interested in becoming Paramedics. Build on the knowledge you gained as an EMT-B while you explore the role of the paramedic and the components of advanced pre-hospital care. This program prepares you to take the National Registry test.

Phlebotomy Technician

Learn to collect blood and other specimens and prepare them for laboratory testing. You will learn basic anatomy and physiology, medical terminology, specimen collection and processing, and laboratory operations. Completing the Phlebotomy Technician Program prepares you for National Certification through the National Healthcareer Association. 

NET+ Certification Program

The course Network Technician will prepare you for the certification exam. Individuals must be A+ Certified or have equivalent experience before pursuing a Network+ Certification.
