Amanda Girardi

About
Amanda Girardi is a full-time faculty and course coordinator for the mental health
nursing course at Harford Community College. She joined the nursing department in
the Fall of 2018. Amanda is passionate about engaging nursing students to address
stigma related to mental illness, so that future nurses can provide nonjudgmental,
client-centered care. Amanda is pursuing her Ph.D. in nursing education, with a focus
on advocacy for those with mental health disorders through her scholarship and research.
