The Pearson VUE Test Center at Harford Community College is located in Edgewood Hall and serves those within the Baltimore, MD, Philadelphia, PA, Washington, DC, and Wilmington, DE vicinity.
Testing for GED®, Licensures, and Certifications
Harford's Pearson VUE Test Center is open to the public. The facility provides access to more than 100 exams administered through Pearson VUE including GED®, CompTIA®, NREMT, Cisco, and others for certification or licensure. Students planning to take an exam must set up an account and schedule it directly through the Pearson VUE.
NOTE: Using a desktop or laptop, not a smartphone, is recommended for scheduling.
GED® Candidates
According to Maryland state guidelines, all GED® candidates planning to test through Pearson VUE must be a Maryland resident. Upon arrival at the testing center, candidates are required to present a current, valid government-issued Maryland ID. The ID must bear the test candidate’s photo and signature. No paper material or cell phone pictures of an ID will be accepted.
The following items are considered acceptable forms of ID:

GED® candidates only may choose to register at GED.com or by calling GED® at 1.877.437.9587. You will be asked to create an account, choose your testing location (Harford Community College), and indicate the GED® subject module(s) for which you need to test.
NOTE: Failure to show for an exam forfeits all registration fees.
