Michele Catterton
Assistant Professor Mathematics
About
I began my teaching career in 1989 teaching middle school mathematics in Baltimore
County. In 1992 I relocated to Harford County where I continued my career as a mathematics
teacher and Department Chairman. I began teaching at Harford in 1999 as an adjunct
instructor which led me to my career goal of becoming a college professor. I am passionate
about the subject matter that I teach. I believe that learning can be fun as well
as rewarding. I promote engagement to create an atmosphere for active learning. When
I am not teaching, I enjoy running, hiking and kayaking.
