Harford Announces Fall '20 Athletic Director's Honor Roll
07 January 2021
Harford Athletic Director Estevan Vasquez has announced that 59 student-athletes have earned a spot on the Athletic Director (AD) Honor Roll, with 17 Fighting Owls securing a 4.0 GPA for the fall 2020 semester.
"I am extremely proud of our student-athletes for fighting through this unprecedented time," said Vasquez. "In addition to the great work that our Fighting Owls did, I'd also like to recognize the extra effort and time our Student-Athlete Success Manager Dimitrios Jelen-Joy put in to ensure this semester went smoothly."
The Harford athletic department achieved a 2.69 grade point average (GPA) in the fall, during which all classes were held virtually due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
To earn a spot on the AD Honor Roll, a student-athlete must earn a 3.0 grade-point average while taking at least 12 credits. The current record for number of student-athletes making the AD Honor Roll was set in the fall of 2017 (92), while the GPA record of 2.84 was set in spring 2018.
Individual Accomplishments
17 Fighting Owls maintained a perfect GPA during the spring: Bailey Alampi (WLAX), George Beeker (MSOC), Hunter Bell (BASE), Brendan Bloss (MXC), Jada Bright (WBB), Chloe Certain (WTEN), Hailey Deares (WXC), Paula Fernandez (WTEN), Paige Iacaruso (WXC), Katie Keech (VB), Tristan Moran, Jamie Moyer (WSOC), Jameson O'Donald (MXC), Cassidy Poole (WLAX), Lauren Puntanen (WSOC), Tiana Travers (SB), and Lianna Tillinghast (WTEN).
