Harford welcomes Joseph A. Giuffre to the position of Associate Vice President for Student Development, effective September 18, 2023. Giuffre brings more than 20 years of higher ed experience to the position, primarily in student affairs.

Harford alumnus Michael Smith was appointed to the College’s Board of Trustees by Governor Wes Moore to serve as an at-large representative through June 30, 2027. He was sworn in by the Clerk of the Court in Bel Air earlier this month.

The Chesapeake Gallery will host a new exhibit, “Afterimage,” by Philadelphia-based artist Hanna Vogel, who makes sculptures and installation works. It will run through November 2 in the gallery in the Student Center, second floor.
A Ceremony of Completion and Celebration was held on August 24 for 83 students who completed their workforce training programs of study at Harford’s Leading Edge Training Center Powered by the Ratcliffe Foundation in Edgewood, MD.

Hosted by Harford’s Nursing and Allied Health Professions division, the summer 2023 Nursing Class Pinning Ceremony for 28 proud and happy associate degree nursing graduates was held on August 22 in the Amoss Center in Bel Air.
