Celebrate Constitution Day

23 August 2021

Welcome Back to Harford Library with Constitution Day and Voter Registration events September 14 & 15.

Double the celebration! Harford Library will have a 2-day Constitution Day event on BOTH Tuesday September 14 and Wednesday September 15 to welcome everyone back to campus and the Library.

Check out tables set up on the 2nd floor of the Library in front of the Circulation Desk and Display cases with voter registration applications, government resources from the Government Publishing Office, pocket constitutions, goodies such as festive pens, GovInfo Post-It notes, Ben’s Guide bookmarks and temporary tattoos, voting stickers, puzzle and activity sheets, and delicious cookies.

Meet a Founding Father and Paralegal students as they make appearances around campus in the Library and in classrooms to hand deliver pocket constitutions. You can also find pocket constitutions and goodies at all 3 services desks in the Library.

Receive voter registration help from a Harford County Board of Elections representative from 10 AM to 2 PM on both Tuesday September 14 and Wednesday September 15 at the tables on the Library 2nd floor. They can assist with submitting new voter registration, checking voter status, submitting election judge applications, and providing information on general elections. Stop by to spin their prize wheel, answer some election & voting trivia questions, and win a prize.

Remember – National Voter Registration Day is also coming up on Tuesday September 28th.

Check out the displays on the 2nd floor of the Library related to the Constitution, 1st and 2nd amendments, and recent government issued reports and resources on human trafficking.
