Governor Larry Hogan has appointed Karen Holt to a five-year term on the nine-member Harford Community College Board of Trustees. Holt, a native of Harford County who resides in Havre de Grace, will represent Councilmanic District F.

WHFC 91.1 FM’s new talk show, “Harford 360,” highlights the variety of interesting offerings and happenings here at Harford. It airs on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. on WHFC and is available as a podcast.
For FY22, Harford has received 15 grants to date. They cover most departments on campus, involve the creation of several new classes and programs, and are essential to the development of the College. In keeping with the College’s strategic plan, grants will help to develop ways to fund educational opportunities to ensure student success.

The Harford County Electrical Contractors Association and Apprenticeship Program (HCECA) was recently awarded the inaugural 2021 Maryland Apprenticeship Award for its outstanding contributions to apprenticeships in the state of Maryland.
It will offer programs in Edgewood in skilled construction trades, manufacturing, warehousing/distribution, and logistics to address the high demand for workforce development and workers in southeastern Harford County.
