New Chair and Vice Chair Elected to Harford Community College Board of Trustees

Richard P. Streett III, DVM has been elected Chair of the Harford Community College Board of Trustees and Brian Walker has been elected Vice Chair for 2022-2023.
Dr. Streett, who formerly served as Vice Chair, was appointed to the Board in 2015. He is the Managing Partner for Churchville, Greenbrier, and Swan Creek Veterinary Clinics and worked there previously as an associate veterinarian. Dr. Streett coordinates the day-to-day operations of the three veterinary offices located in Harford County and oversees more than 50 staff members and associate veterinarians. He provides strategic and fiscal management for the corporation, establishes marketing initiatives, and provides inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical care. Prior to joining the Churchville Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Streett worked as an associate veterinarian at the Greater Annapolis Veterinary Hospital. He earned a BS in Environmental Resource Management from The Pennsylvania State University in 1996 and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine (Blacksburg, VA) in May 2000.
Dr. Streett is a past President and current board member of the Maryland Veterinary Medical Association. He serves on the Maryland Veterinary Foundation Board and is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Locally, Dr. Streett also serves as Co-Chair of the University of Maryland Upper Chesapeake Health NextGen Leadership Council.
Mr. Brian Walker joined the Board in 2018 and has over 30 years of business experience in sales, sales management, and marketing consulting. He has worked primarily in the digital health care industry where, under his guidance, a number of companies have successfully gone public or been acquired.
A native of Joppa, MD, Mr. Walker began his post-secondary studies at Essex Community College, later earning his BS in Business Administration from Towson University. He is also a 2010 graduate of the Harvard Business School's Accelerated Leadership Development Program. In addition to his position on the Harford Community College Board of Trustees, Mr. Walker is very active with local charities such as the Harford Family House and the Sharing Table.
