Former Harford Fighting Owls baseball standout and 2019 NJCAA DI All-American Braeden Fausnaught ’19, has signed with Major League Baseball's (MLB) Philadelphia Phillies.
Fausnaught excelled in his sophomore campaign for Harford, finishing 2019 with a 7-1 record and a 1.75 ERA over 56-2/3 innings. After Harford, Fausnaught transferred to West Chester University (NCAA DII). This past season, he helped the Golden Rams reach the DII World Series and finished the year with a single-season program record 130 strikeouts. Once WCU's season concluded, Fausnaught headed to the collegiate summer baseball league to play for the Trenton Thunder. There, Fausnaught went 2-1 with a 2.45 ERA in 11 innings pitched.
