If you're interested in becoming an HVAC professional or are currently employed by a licensed HVAC company, you can train to become a licensed journeyperson through Harford's partnership with the Heating and Air Conditioning Contractors of Maryland. Well-trained, reliable technicians are in constant demand. Successfully complete this program and you'll be able to apply for and receive an HVAC journeyperson license from the Maryland Department of Labor without taking the exam. The four-year curriculum gives credit for both on-the-job and classroom training.
