Harford Community College to Hold Third Annual Maryland Scholars Summit

Harford Community College has partnered with Cecil College to hold the Third Annual Maryland Scholars Summit on Saturday, April 29, from 9 AM to 3 PM in Darlington Hall on Harford’s campus.

Undergraduate students from all Maryland community colleges and all academic fields are invited to submit an abstract and register to participate. Project submissions may include poster boards, research papers, creative scholarly works, and PowerPoint presentations. Prizes will be awarded in each of the following categories: Best Scientific Work, Best Creative Work, and Best Poster Presentation. The deadline to submit abstracts is March 31, 2023. Students will be given the opportunity to present research and projects that have been conducted under the supervision of a faculty member or professional in the field. Faculty, community members, families and students are all invited to attend the free event. Register for the conference here.

The conference is designed to acquaint undergraduate students with the process and academic rigors of presenting projects in a professional setting.
