Veterans SITREP to Air on WHFC

22 June 2023

The Veterans SITREP radio series from WHFC, Harford Community College’s radio station, will debut on July 6, 2023, at 6:30 p.m. on 91.1 FM WHFC. SITREP means “Situation Report” – a status report that provides a quick, clear, concise understanding of the current situation.

The show will provide a platform to connect veterans, their families, friends and support networks to address veterans’ issues and provide information about resources that will help veterans in their lives. Every week, host Colonel Bill Montgomery (U.S. Army, Retired) will interview featured guests. The program will be available the next day on the WHFC podcast channel found on Spotify and online.

The first Veterans SITREP guests will be Anthony Woods, Maryland Secretary of Veterans Affairs; Mary Jane Jernigan, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army; Noah Courtney, U.S. Coast Guard (Ret.); and Barbara Travers, Coordinator for APG & Veterans’ Services at Harford Community College.

If you are interested in contributing to this project editorially or financially, contact the station at www.WHFC911.org  or write them at SITREP@Harford.edu.

WHFC is looking forward to sharing Veterans SITREP with Harford County.
