Walker, who formerly served as Vice Chair, was appointed to the Board in 2018. He has more than 30 years of business experience, much of it in sales, sales management, and marketing consulting. He has worked primarily in the digital health care industry, where a number of companies have successfully gone public or been acquired under his guidance.

A native of Joppa, MD, Walker began his postsecondary studies at Essex Community College, later earning a BS in Business Administration from Towson University. He is also a 2010 graduate of the Harvard Business School's Accelerated Leadership Development Program. In addition to his position on the Harford Community College Board of Trustees, Walker is very active with local charities such as the Harford Family House and the Sharing Table.

Sharon Markley Schreiber was appointed to the Board in 2020. She is the Executive Director of the Maryland Business Roundtable for Education (MBRT), providing leadership for the more than 30-year-old 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on enhancing businesses’ relationship in advancing Maryland’s workforce development and K-12 education initiatives into the next decade.

Schreiber has more than 12 years of experience in education, previously serving as Vice President for Public Affairs and Strategy at Stevenson University, and Special Assistant to the President at Notre Dame of Maryland University. Schreiber is a 2021 graduate of the Leadership Maryland and the Greater Baltimore Leadership (2011) programs, and a member of the Maryland Economic Development Association. She is an avid volunteer for nonprofits across the state, including executive leadership roles locally with the American Heart Association.

Schreiber holds a BA degree (summa cum laude) in philosophy with a minor in communications from Notre Dame of Maryland University. She also attended Maryland Institute College of Art and Harford Community College. She completed the Harvard Management and Leadership in Education (MLE) graduate program in 2013. A Harford County native, Schreiber graduated from North Harford High School. Schreiber's mother, Marjorie Markley (nee Edwards), was one of the four members of the first graduating class from Harford Community College—then Harford Junior College—in 1959.
