Job Readiness provides new and incumbent workers with skills that increase their employability as they prepare to enter the workforce.  

Prioritizing, managing time, coordinating resources, finding solutions, and communicating effectively are essential skills needed to cultivate a positive and robust culture— whether working with a buyer, setting up a service, managing a team, or in a support role.

What can I do when I complete this program?

Students learn practical how-to strategies and soft skills to manage their time, juggle multiple projects, handle unexpected demands and unplanned situations. The course also covers job search skills including resume writing, workplace communication, and interviewing skills.

Harford Community College is expanding its reach in the community. Beginning in Fall 2024, 5 new Career and Workforce Training programs are being offered at Harford's Workforce Training Center at Water's Edge | 4690 Millennium Drive, Suite 101, Belcamp, MD 21017. Funding is available for all programs.
