The College has announced the students named to the spring 2024 President’s List. Among the highest academic honors a college student can achieve, scholars qualify for this prestigious list by earning all “A” and “B” grades and maintaining a 3.76 GPA or higher.
Harford Community College Foundation's 31st Annual Summer Swing Golf Tournament, held on July 15 at Maryland Golf and Country Clubs, brought 128 golfers together with numerous sponsors and volunteers to raise more than $64,610 for scholarships for Harford’s students.

Phoenix Festival Theater will present the musical Fiddler on the Roof at the Amoss Center in Bel Air. Showtimes are Friday, September 20 at 7 PM; Saturday, September 21 at 2 PM and 7 PM; and Sunday, September 22 at 2 PM.
Harford has received a $118,231 state grant to support a multi-strategy initiative addressing growing concerns around students’ mental health. The funding will help to expand services to reach more students in need and destigmatize those seeking such services.

Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland has received a grant from National Voter Registration Day (NVRD) to fund engagement with students to promote voter registration and participation in the electoral process.
The Diversity, Inclusion, Culture and Equity (DICE) Committee at Harford Community College announced the winners of the 2024 Harford Community College Equity Awards at its 2nd Harford Equity Summit, held on June 11.
The College recognized several employees for their scholarly or creative publications and works at the Campus Celebration & Employee Recognition Event in June. A plaque in the Library is updated each year to honor their works; this is the 15th year of the recognitions.
Harford is pleased to announce that 15 students completed their GED® in 2023-24. A ceremony honoring their achievements was held on June 24 in Darlington Hall. Those passing all four modules of the GED® exams earned a Maryland High School Diploma. Congrats to the new grads!
