Two Harford Community College students, Jareen Chowdhury and Shreeyam Mishra, have been named first and second 2021 Phi Theta Kappa All-Maryland Academic Team members, respectively. Both students were recognized during the annual All-Maryland Community College Recognition Ceremony, held virtually this year on May 12, 2021.

The Harford County Electrical Apprenticeship program’s first-ever virtual celebration took place on Friday, May 7. The ceremony celebrated seventy-eight 2020, and eighty-nine 2021 students, the two largest classes to date.

The ATHENA Young Professional Leadership Award was presented to Garbarino, Senior Director of Resource Development at The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region. Harford Community College Foundation Raises $30,000 for Scholarships at Crab Crawl Fundraiser
The District 34 Maryland State Delegation representatives have awarded $260,000 in local bond initiative funding to Harford Community College to purchase equipment and materials and for a new Logistics and Warehousing program and curriculum.
Harford Community College’s Destination Imagination (DI) team, the Drama Queens, took 2nd place in the state tournament on April 10 and will move on to the Global Finals tournament in July.
