Harford Community College will hold an Open House for prospective students of all ages and interests on Saturday, May 3, from 10 AM to 12 PM. Check-in is from 10 to 10:30 AM at the Quad in front of the Student Center.
Harford Dance Theatre will perform Return to the Chocolate Factory on Friday, May 2 at 7 PM and Saturday and Sunday, May 3 and 4, at 1 and 5 PM in the Amoss Center in Bel Air.
All are welcome to visit Maryland’s 9/11 rolling memorial, featuring artifacts from Ground Zero and the Pentagon, on display at the Quad (the grassy area near the Student Center) on April 22 from 12 to 2 PM. A video presentation will also be available in the Globe Café.
The 2025-26 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form is still open. Harford’s Financial Aid staff will provide free, individualized help in completing the FAFSA® on May 9, 12-1 PM in the Student Center, Room 243. Click “Read more” to register.

Samantha Greb, a student pursuing an Associate of Science degree in Accounting at Harford Community College, has been named a 2025 Coca-Cola Academic Team Gold Scholar and will receive a $1,500 scholarship.

Harford Dance Theatre will hold auditions for “Kinetic Canvas: Edvard Munch” on April 19 in Susquehanna Center’s Dance Studio 212 (Entrance #2). Rehearsals begin in May; performance dates are August 1 and 2. Auditions are open to the public; dancers must be age 13+ by audition.
The Harford Youth Orchestra and Harford String Orchestra will present their spring concert on Saturday, April 5, 1-3 PM, at Edgewood High School. Hosted by Harford Community College, all are welcome to attend this free concert to support Harford County’s finest young musicians.
