WHFC 91.1 FM’s new talk show, “Harford 360,” highlights the variety of interesting offerings and happenings here at Harford. It airs on the first Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. on WHFC and is available as a podcast.
The National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR), District 1, recently awarded 2021 Medallion Awards to Harford Community College’s Office of Communications.

Harford Community College redesignated a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense
The Actors Guild, a student organization that sponsors theater productions for Harford Community College students, will perform The Diviners on November 11-14 in the Chesapeake Theater on campus.
Harford Community College in Bel Air, Maryland has received funding from Maryland State Department of Education’s Division of Career and College Readiness in the amount of $96,535 to support the development of a Transportation, Logistics and Cargo Security pathway to prepare students for high skill, high wage in-demand careers in the manufacturing supply chain industry.
The Maryland Department of Labor’s Adult Education and Literacy Services division recently awarded a $450,563 grant to Harford Community College to fund the College’s Adult Literacy program that includes English as a Second Language (ESL) classes, Adult Basic Education (ABE), Pre-GED® and GED® classes, and classes taught at the Harford County Detention Center.

Harford Community College’s Fall Festival was a big hit! Over 900 people attended the event that was held on the College campus on October 15.
