Take advantage of the many options to learn about Financial Aid.

Harford's Financial Aid Team provides workshops, info sessions, and other reminders and events to help you navigate the financial aid process and get the maximum aid you are entitled to. Check back often for the most up-to-date information.

AUGUST

Fall Tuition Due: Check your bill and pay any balance not covered by financial aid or set up a payment plan.

Navigating Your Financial Aid Offer: One-on-one online sessions tailored to help you understand your Financial Aid Award.

SEPTEMBER

Prepare for the FAFSA®:  It’s easier to complete the FAFSA® form if you gather what you need ahead of time.

OCTOBER

Apply to Harford:  If you haven't already applied to the College, now is the time. Financial aid cannot be awarded unless you apply. APPLY

FAFSA® Opens: Completing the FAFSA® is the first step to obtaining financial aid. Make sure to include Harford’s school code: 002075.  Opens WED, OCT 1  |  FAFSA® Form

Attend any session to learn about FAFSA®, types of aid, how to apply, deadlines, updates, and tips for keeping aid. Open to all—whether you're attending Harford or another college.

On Campus Financial Literacy Seminars

Presented by APGFCU, these activities provide a fun way to gain insight into financial topics... and get some cool giveaways! All events take place in the Owls Nest, located on the lower level of the Student Center.

LAUNCH YOUR INVESTMENT JOURNEY FEB 12 | 12:30–1:30 PM
Ever wonder how far just $50 a month could take you? In this session, you’ll map out your personal “goal flight plan” and see how small, consistent investments can grow over time. Then, test your knowledge with a fun Kahoot on investing basics like risk, returns, and how to get started. It’s a great launchpad for building wealth early and confidently.

PLANT YOUR FINANCIAL ROOTS FEB 24 | 12:30–1:30 PM
Grow your savings while you grow your own mini ecosystem! In this creative session, you’ll build a personalized savings plan and a terrarium—because strong finances, like healthy plants, need the right foundation. You’ll also play a Kahoot on scams and insurance to learn how to protect your money.

SPRING INTO SAVINGS APR 15 | 1–2
Fresh season, fresh start! Join us for a fun Budget Bingo Challenge with quick wins like “bring lunch today” or “check your credit score”—small actions that lead to big savings. Then, test your money smarts with a Kahoot on banking and budgeting basics. It’s a lighthearted way to build better habits and boost your financial confidence this spring.
